- July of 2008 I began
operating my own consulting company full-time. Vega Discoveries offers custom programming services and
web hosting with email services.
- In 2008 I obtained the client
'True Blue Clothing'. Vega Discoveries is now responsible for performing database, middle-layer, and end
user programming for end to end solutions within True Blue Clothing.
- In 2009 Vega Discoveries entered
into an agreement to provide data processing services to 'Integrated Card Services'. Vega Discoveries provided
secure data services and maintained a custom built web application to provide Integrated staff with access to
the data processing results. The data processing services include producing monthly statements for Agent and
Merchant Payments from Integrated.
- In 2010 Vega Discoveries began offering
services to a new startup company, 'Ogs Noodle'.
- As a principle partner in 'Ogs Noodle'
I have overseen the technical challenges of meeting the companies needs. Specifically, creating a new server
platform to provide video conferencing services. I have researched technologies, selected development tools,
and overseen the development of custom solutions for Ogs Noodle.
- I created a web based service that can be used by
programmers to filter language content.
The service allows a programmer to select a rating level that they wish their content to be filtered to. (G, PG, PG13, R)
The service is found at http://www.filterlanguage.com
Ogs Noodle is utilizing this service to ensure that content typed by users meets published site standards.
August of 2013 Vega Discoveries began
developing a phone app for distance sports - Race Beacon. In May of 2014 the app went live in the Apple App Store.

be used on a variety of projects within the team.
- Designed
and built an application for distributing work items to end users via an
application rather than paper reports. The application allows for tracking
work performance by staff.
- Designed
and built a system that enables large amounts of data to be processed by
multiple rack-mounted client systems. The automated processing mimics the
keystrokes of data entry staff in the LastWord and IBM hospital systems.
Created an end-user application to allow managers to send data to the
automated system from their desktop.
- Created
documentation templates for development staff to improve the development
of software by the team. Created documentation templates for requestors of
our services and assisted in the workflow process of managing those
requests.
